What nojarg is

nojarg is a plain English financial education site for people in their 20s and 30s who want to understand how money actually works — without jargon, spin, or sales pressure.

Every guide, calculator, and explainer is written to help you make better decisions. There is no product being sold, no fund being promoted, and no financial advisor waiting at the end of the article to call you.

What we currently make: nothing

As of 2026, nojarg has no revenue. The site is funded by the founder and runs on a modest infrastructure budget. There are no premium subscriptions, no ads, no affiliate commissions, and no sponsored placements.

What future monetization might look like

If and when nojarg monetizes, it will only be in ways that are consistent with the educational mission. The most likely future approaches are:

• Clearly labeled referral links

  If we ever recommend a specific product — like a high-yield savings account or a term life insurance provider — we may include a referral link. Any such link will be labeled prominently. We will only recommend products we would genuinely suggest to a friend, and editorial recommendations will never be for sale.

• Optional newsletter

  A free weekly email with one plain English money concept. No upsell, no lock-in. The email may eventually have a paid tier for deeper content — but the core education stays free.

• No advertising

  Display advertising and programmatic ad networks are not compatible with a calm reading experience. We have no plans to use them.

• No sponsored content

  We will not write or publish articles in exchange for payment. The editorial voice exists to serve the reader, not the advertiser.

Our commitment

When any monetized element appears on nojarg — a referral link, a sponsored section, an affiliate comparison — it will be disclosed clearly and labeled at the point of use. The educational content that surrounds it will not change.
